Send us your offers of help for your neighbors

Matt Noyes suggested this, and we're happy to do it. We have received many emails from New Englanders (and beyond), offering free and discounted services to those who suffered losses in the May flood. Send in your offers to web@necn.com and we will post them.  Please note: we cannot vouch for all of these offers, so be sure to be cautious when contacting potential offers. We know how generous New Englanders are, but we also want you to make sure you're safe. – The NECN.com team.

Good work Matt/NECN/Wordpress, way to go!

The only thought I had was, what do those who are seeking such free or discounted offers do if, as a result of flood damage, they are without online access and therefore are unable to access the blog, etc?

… or, of course, those who are in need of such offers due to the flooding yet have been without online access for one reason or another not related to the flood (e.g., the digital divide).

It is just a thought.

Hi Matt,You are by far my very favorite meteorlogist. I never miss your weather. I live in Lowell,Ma. and my request is this: Could specificately mention the Merrimack Valley as it is hard to determine where the freezing & snow line is. Thanks Matt
